Youkyung Kaycee Woo a textile connoisseur born in South Korea, runs her own textile workshop in uptown New York. She prides herself in teaching art or textile students who want to learn tufting techniques and is currently, working on tufting installations for her first exhibition. “MUJER WOO,” embraces time-honored techniques with a modern sensibility to create unique and feminine pieces for women of all ages. Woo’s vision as a designer is for her customers to build self-confidence through fashion but consider the environment and its impact on society.
